Milestone Scientific has developed and currently manufactures, markets and sells a proprietary, computer-controlled system for the improved and painless delivery of local anesthetic. The system is marketed in dentistry under the trademark "CompuDent" and in medicine under the trademark "CompuMed". CompuDent(TM) is suitable for all dental procedures. CompuMed(TM) is suitable for many medical procedures regularly used in Plastic Surgery, Hair Restoration Surgery, Podiatry, Colorectal Surgery, Dermatology, Orthopedics and a number of other disciplines. CompuDent and CompuMed are sold in the United States and worldwide in over 25 countries.

The company's products, CompuDent in the dental market, CompuMed in the medical market and the disposable component, the Wand^® handpiece, were developed to penetrate the existing 150 year old syringe marketplace. Milestone recently was granted broad patent protection on a safety-engineered sharps technology, which can be used as an adjunct to the Wand and also with other infusion devices, such as those used in intravenous procedures and in certain specialized injections. This market was created when the Federal Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act was passed into law in 2000.

CompuFlo is a computer-controlled, pressure sensitive infusion, perfusion, suffusion and aspiration device, which through touch screen technology, provides a real time readout of pressures, fluid densities and flow rates, that advances the delivery and removal of a wide array of fluids.
